Veterinary Technician

Hometown: Santa Maria, California

College: Polk State College Winter Haven, FL

I started working in the animal field in 2001 as a kennel technician, then moved up to receptionist, then to technician assistant and lastly became a technician in 2003. I've been working in the field ever since. I moved to Charleston 10 years ago to continue to grow in the veterinary field as a Technician Manager. I've worked the past 9 years in specialty medicine working in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and ICU. After having my wonderful son, I cut back my hours and worked remotely for a doggie daycare which made it possible to be a stay-at-home mother. I decided I was ready to get back in the field full-time and found this wonderful hospital.
